Shangri-la Maldives - Opening delayed

Opening of Shangri-La Resort in Maldives is delayed as the deadline is near. Shangri-La is one of the new resorts in Maldives, which is yet to open.

After a long struggle and delay Shagrila Resort is planned to open by July 2008. The construction work is almost over but the chances of opening by July 2008 is very less. I was talking to a person who had visited the resort 2 days back. When I was talking to the HR Director of Shangri-La last month, they were hoping to start by July 2008.

Shagri-La Resort has 142 bests, and will definitely be one of the best resorts in Maldives. The project is handled by Alyson, which is one my official customer. There are about 2000 labourers working for the project day and night. The delay in finishing the project is due to delay in getting the materials as you know that each and every material for construction needs to be imported.

I have yet not got a chance to visit the resort, but surely I will be visiting the resort soon.
