I am working in a Private Limited Company in the Maldives and I am responsible for doing the recruitment for our company. The biggest task for me is to get good candidates. There are many recruitment companies who can serve candidates for us, but the problem is that they charge the candidates depending on the post and salary. I do not know the exact charges, but its around US$1000 to 2000 per candidate depending on the post.
I usually need the following category of candidates

- X-Ray technicians

Boorasamy, Chances for graphic designers are very less here as they are availble locally. There are good chances for teachers, there will be announced on the Indian news papers. The other option is to come to Male’ at your risk, attend the interview and get the job directly. This is done by lots of people and it works out well

Boorasamy, Airfare is around Rs 12000 for the return ticket, and visa is on arrival, you can come as a tourist. Accommodation if you stay in small guest house, it will cost you around $40 per day

@Julie, I am sure, you can get a job in Maldives. There are about 95 high class resorts in Maldives like Four Seasons, One & Only, Shangrilla, Hilton, You should try through their websites.
