Readymade Paratha available in Maldives
July 4, 2008
I like paratha very much and for me to make it is a big task. In Male’, the capital of Maldives, there is a shop called Fantacy where you get frozen uncooked parathas of different type, like the Onion Paratha, Methi Paratha, Plain Paratha, Aalu Paratha. One pack consists of 5 parathas and it costs MRF 24. Today my breakfast was this simple to cook paratha, Just open the pack and cook it as you make chapathi and eat it hot. You will not need curry also.

Just came back from Vilu Reef Resort after an unplanned official visit. I got some good pictures and videos of the resort. The tourist flow is bit less now as its off season in Maldives. Most of the resorts in Maldives run full or are overbooked from Aug to March of every year. April to July is somewhat off seasons and during this periods most of the resorts do all the necessary renovation work
I had taken this video from the Trans Maldivian Airways

Back from India
May 19, 2008
I was unable to any posts this now as I was traveling in India and just came back to Male’ last night. I was in Kerala as well as in Bangalore. It was good to be in India, having homely food, meeting friends and relatives.
This time I could not take much of pictures nor do any posts during my travel. I was really very busy. I see lots of changes happening and feel really proud seeing the developments. The climate was really hot in Kerala and Bangalore was also not that good. Surprisingly the airfare also gone up. Last time I had traveled from Trivandrum to Bangalore for less than INR 3000, but this time I had to pay INR 6000. Other news is the new International Airport will be opened soon so may be next time when I travel, I will get a chance to use the new airport in Bangalore. The US$ rate has gone up, I got INR 41 for US$ which is the highest in last 6 months I guess.
Now back to work, so I will be able to do some posts regularly
Googling your name
April 27, 2008
Have you ever tried searching for your name on Google? If you have a blog or you are active online doing some posts on different forums, then surely you will see some results.
How can you find if somebody is searching your name on Google.
Option 1 - This will work only if your blog ranks 1st on the Google search result or atleast 1-3 position. Create a Google Adwords campaign with your name as the keyword. You can find if you get clicks for your campaign
Option 2 - Check your blog statistic on Google Adwords, you can find it under the organic traffic source.
Self Googling
Searching for your name on Google is known as Self Googling. I do get some traffic to my blog and other websites with my name as the keyword. Now a days many employers do search for the employees on Google to find more information about the candidate. If you try Googling my name “Kishore Asokan“, you will find lots of information about me on different websites. Recently I read a post on Homeland security Googling names. Self Googling is a way to find out how different people around the world and trying to find about you. Some stats show that 47% of the internet users do self googling, infact self Googling reveals your online footprint.
If you have not tried it, just try now
