I have been facing problem installing a network printer on my laptop which is run on Windows Vista. When ever I try to install , I get a message that the printer spool is not running, restart the machine and try again.

I have got the solution for this.

Go to start->Right click on Computer, then select Manage and then in services- select

Once you click on the Manage menu, you will get the the following wind

Then click on the services shown on the left sidebar. and select printer spool

Click on the start link or restart link to start the printer spool and try installing. For me it failed for the first time, but worked the second time

I was just playing with Cuil. I don’t think this a just launched search engine, but its my first visit to this site.

I just searched for my name, but could not get any pages, but on Google, I get a good number of pages and its 100% relevant results. The search for my name shows this page

But this search engine has something with different. You get some relevant or related search results.

But my next search showed me this error page

I tried few more times, but the same message, the server seams to be overloaded. That’s the biggest different with Google. They have the best hardware in the world and Google can handle millions of searches simultaneously.

I was going through the stats of my blog using my Google Analytics account. I was under the impression that Firefox is the most popularly used browser, but when I look into the stats of my blog visitors, the most used browser is Internet Explorer. As far as I am concerned, I use Firefox 3. I very rarely use Internet Explorer.

After the bomb blasts in Bangalore, today there were 13 bomb blasts in Ahmedabad. There are few casualities. Blasts were in isanpur, bupu nagar, narol cirlcle, hatkeshwar, sarangpur, markets. The first blast was at 6.45pm at Bapunagar today and were kept in tiffin boxes on cycles. Blast in sarkhej in CNG bus. Blasts were in the Chief Minister’s constituency also. Rapid action force has been called to take care of the situation. Bombs were planted on cycles in the crowded market place.

Today Maldives celebrates its 43rd independence day. Maldives was also ruled by the Britisher’s and was granted independence on the 26th July 1965. You can find a detailed information about the Independence day here.

This year, Indians in Maldives will be celebrating its Independence day In Male on the August 15th. India Club is planning to organize some cultural programs on this occasion

I find some pagerank update on the google toolbar. I have found that most of my website pagerank has been changed, but not much of difference. This blog has the same pagerank, but I have found many internal pages with great changes in pagerank. Some of my internal pages has a better pagerank than my homepage. I have not done anything to boost my pagerank as I do not worry much about that now. The first pagerank update for the year 2008 was in January 2008
