First 2008 Pagerank Update

Today morning I noticed some changes on my webpages pagerank. The Google toolbar was showing changes in pagerank of different websites. Its confirmed that the first pagerank update for the year 2008 is on. Its not complete as many sites like digg are not showing any pagerank. We need to wait till google updates are over.
Blog Posting Using Microsoft Word

Recently I was trying to do blog posts using Microsoft Word. This is an excellent tool. You can configure your blog settings into the Microsoft word and create your posts with all the formatting available with Microsoft word. Once you complete it just click publish and it’s done. You can insert picture, format it and lots of stuffs that can be done. I am posting this using Microsoft Word.

You might have experienced the job of spammers, commenting with links to their sites if you have a blog or any user interactive website. Google spider (GoogleBot) crawls from one link to other. Suppose you do a post and have users commenting to your post, you will find that you get lots of comments which are really not relevant, but just to create links to some spam websites. Google gives some credit to such links and improves the position in search result ranking. This really spoils Google’s Search results with spammy sites. To avoid this Google introduces this tag rel=nofollow in Jan-2005.
